Friday, April 21,2008-3:37AM Arizona time.

It is hard to write this message and know what to say.
Jan passed peacefully away at about 1:30AM this morning.
We are very sad at her passing, but relieved that her suffering
is no more. We said beautiful goodbyes and shared a love
we will miss more than words can tell.....

Words cannot express my feeling at this time. Perhaps "copying" this URL into your browser, can express my feelings better...

Celebrate that shared love and those wonderful memories. For these things along with the comfort of family and friends will help sustain you through this time of loss and sorrow.

May God be with you and provide comfort.
God bless you and yours Patre.

    Dear Pat, Veronica,and Tyler,
Words can not describe my sorrow that I am feeling. I loved your her soo much. Jan was a beautiful, loving, and kind and caring person. She always put others before herself. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her. Last night I woke up and checked my clock and it was after 1 am. I fell back to sleep and had a dream and Jan was there and she looked like her old self. She was happy and said she felt great. We hugged and said good bye. This morning I was afraid to check the blog for fear that she had passed.
I am sending you Gods Blessings and May He Comfort You in your time of need.
    My Deepest Sympathy and Love,
    Tami

    Dear Pat, Tyler and Veronica,

There is never an easy way to deal with situations such as these. We all send our prayers and hope that lends some comfort. Unfortunately you can't get around the pain and sorrow you feel. You have to go right through it and have faith that the the Lord will be with you. I hope it comforts you to know how much Jan has touched all our lives. She has left so many positive imprints that there will always be a little bit of her that shines through us.

    With Love, Thoughts and Prayers

    Dear Pat, Tyler and Veronica,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family at this terrible time. We are all blessed to have known Jan and her "can-do" spirit. Her attitude and strength will continue to inspire me for the rest of my days. With deepest sympathy,

Arizona got a little smaller today. A void where there used to be a huge heart.

If Generosity is measured by what you give when you, too are in need… and
If Grace reveals itself when times get rough… and
If Courage is not the lack of fear but how you deal with it… and
If Strength is not how much you can lift, but what’s inside…
Then, by example, Jan gave us lessons in all…

In a situation where any of us would be scared to death, she encouraged us.
In the awkward moments when words would fail, she had the grace to know what was meant.
At her most vulnerable hour, she was still protecting those she loved.
From her ravaged and weakened frame, she continued to be a source of support and strength to those around her.
During the darkest hours, her inspirational light of hope and positive thoughts kept shining bright.

For Jan, the pain is over, now it’s left for us that loved her. But surely, over time, even the shadows of grief will have no choice but to yield to the brilliance of a lifetime of happy memories.

The consummate teacher to the very end, God bless you Jan, for what you taught us all.

    - Mark
