Jan Thompson 1952-2006 Wife, mother, teacher Loving and brave person We loved her, and are grateful for her presence in our lives Pat,Veronica and Tyler Thompson
Jan and I used to comment on each other's blogs. I just came across one Patrick left on the one year anniversary of her passing. It's been over six years now and every time I stumble upon one her comments as I re-read some of my old blog posts, I stop by to visit her blog. I hope you, her family, are well.
... Hello .. it's Mrs. Mac (again) .. was looking through my blog for my post about making Burgundy Beef Stew and found this 'gem' of a comment from Jan. Wow .. over ten years since she whet home with Jesus. We lost our little granddaughter a few years ago and I can still feel the pain of losing her. Hoping you and the family are well.
"Hi, Mrs.Mac, I was surprised to see that you are still visiting my blog! Amazing! my husband read some of your blog site aloud to me, laughing all the while. He thinks you and I are two peas in a pod, in that I'd rather try to fix something myself than pay a repairman. However, garage doors? I don't think so. Maybe because I'm so short I'd feel a little overwhelmed. BTW, our garage looks like yours, but we aren't moving! Good luck with your move, and remember, it's like Roseanandanda used to say: "It's always something!" Best wishes, Jan"
So very nice to hear from you,Mrs.Mac. These ten years have passed so very quickly, but Jan still remains in our hearts with love.Losing a granddaughter must be so very sad. Prayers of comfort, consolation and relief from grief for you and your family.Thank-you for the blessing of your kindness... Pat (Jan's husband)
