We started the day with a visit from Rebecca, the hospice nurse.
She ordered a different medication to help curb Jan's Nausea.
It also incuded a small dosage of a drug that increases mental acuity. Consequently, after a rough morning, Jan's spirits
improved, and she was buoyed by the news that members of
her extended family would begin arriving tomorrow to spend
some time with her and our family.

Pain is still being controlled by breakthrough Oxycodone on an as needed basis.
