We picked up the anti-nausea medication,Meclazine, about noon today. The nurse practitioner prescribed it, but it turns out you don't need a prescription to buy or use it because it is an over-the-counter anti-emetic. Jan took the prescribed dose, and her lunch and dinner remain comfortably settled in her stomach. Yet, She still experiences some transitory "urpy" feelings. It appears that we have found a powerful, but not perfect remedy.
Tomorrow morning, Jan tackles the 3rd round of "chemo". It is amazing how many people share the chemotherapy experience.
The chairs fill up.....fast.
